You sign in to YouTV with your AIQORA account. In doing so, AIQORA transmits your name, email address, profile picture and an account identifier to us. We use this data to provide your YouTV account (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You manage the password and two-factor settings of your AIQORA account at AIQORA.

• Playback: playback history and progress, so that you can resume videos.
• Interactions: likes, favorites, subscriptions and notifications.
• Statistics: for view counts and creator analytics, we store a pseudonymous viewer identifier, the playback duration, the country and the device type for each playback. Creators only see aggregated values.
• Settings: your profile, playback and notification settings.

The legal basis is the performance of the user agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

When you upload videos, we store and process the video file, thumbnails and the video details in order to convert and publish the video (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). About 24 hours after a video is deleted, all associated files are removed from storage. A log entry of the deletion is retained for evidentiary purposes.

Content review: before publication, we automatically review titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails using the OpenAI moderation interface. Flagged content is reviewed by humans; a rejection is never made solely by automated means. The legal basis is our legitimate interests and our obligations as a platform to prevent illegal content (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

Subtitles: for automatic subtitles, the audio track of a video is transmitted to the OpenAI transcription interface.

YouTV only uses technically necessary cookies that keep you signed in (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). We do not use any tracking or advertising cookies.

We use the following processors, with whom we have concluded agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR:

• Supabase – database, sign-in and file storage, data center in Frankfurt am Main.
• Vercel – delivery of the website, server functions in Frankfurt am Main. This generates technical access logs containing IP addresses.
• Fly.io – video processing and interfaces, data center in Frankfurt am Main.
• Upstash – queue for processing jobs.
• OpenAI – content review and subtitles (see section 4).

Some of these providers are based in the USA. Transfers take place on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 45 and 46 GDPR).

We store your data for as long as your account exists. You can remove likes, favorites and subscriptions yourself at any time. Upon request, we delete your YouTV account together with all associated data, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, write to us at info@aiqora.ai. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW, the North Rhine-Westphalia Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information).
